Typical UK price ranges
Mobile valeting is priced by the work involved and the size of the vehicle, not by distance travelled. Across the UK, a maintenance wash sits at the low end and full paint correction at the top.
- Mini valet: £30–£50
- Full valet: £45–£90
- Deep clean / interior restoration: £70–£150
- Machine polishing: £120–£350 depending on stages
What actually changes the price
Vehicle size is the biggest factor: a large SUV can have double the panel area of a city car, and vans more again. Condition matters just as much — pet hair, ground-in mud and smoke odour all add labour.
Access plays a part too. A detailer who arrives fully water-independent can work in an underground car park or a permit bay; one who needs your outside tap cannot.
How GlossGo prices it
We publish fixed prices by vehicle size, with a 15% uplift for vans, and no travel charge inside our covered areas. Mini valets start at £35, full valets at £50, deep cleans are £80 and machine polishing is £150.
Members save on every booking and receive included washes each month, which is usually the cheapest route if you clean your car more than once a month.
Spotting a fair quote
Be cautious of anyone quoting a full valet at under £25 — at that price something is being skipped, and it is usually the safe wash technique that protects your paint. Equally, a premium price should come with insurance, a satisfaction guarantee and a clear description of the process.
